Bob Weaver will be demonstrating his extraordinary skills with pen and ink at the East Suburban Artists League meeting on October 6, in Murrysville.
Bob’s use of pen and ink has won accolades in many artistic circles. While demonstrating his unique approach to his art, he will explain his techniques. Examples of his numerous pen and ink drawings will be on display. Subject matter includes sports & entertainment figures, animals, barns & structures, inspirational themes, and “joy rides”. He has even promised to share one of his prints with all of those who attend.
Bob previously taught art for 37 years in Yough School District and has participated in over 30 arts and book-related festivals through the years. He is now able to make a living from his art since his retirement from teaching.
This presentation is free, open to the public and begins at 7pm at Christ’s Lutheran Church, 5330 Old Logan Ferry Road, Murrysville, in the lower-level meeting room, on Thursday, October 6. Members have a time of Show and Tell at 6:45pm. The business meeting will begin after the presentation.
