MEMBERSHIP & DUES
Come join us!
Being a member is a fabulous opportunity to make lasting friendships and find amazing camaraderie with your fellow artists from the area. In addition, it gives everyone an opportunity to learn and grow personally and artistically from each other, thru our programs and thru each other’s art and our various exhibits.
Other ESAL Membership information and benefits include the following:
- We greatly encourage all members to take an active role and become involved in as officers, on committees, setting up exhibitions – we need members to be active.
- ESAL memberships run from September through August of each year.
- The only qualification is that you be 18 years of age or older and have an interest in art.
- Dues are renewed and collected starting in September thru the first week of December each year.
- Dues can be paid by cash or check made payable to ESAL and delivered at one of our meetings or mailed to: Peter Cehily (ptcehily@consolidated.net), 112 Cehily Road, New Kensington, PA 15068.
- Dues are $25 for an individual and $30 for a couple.
- You must be a member in good standing whose dues are current to display your art in any of ESAL’s group shows or any of the venues for individual exhibits.
- An updated membership list is emailed to all current members twice per year. It is updated and sent out via email in December and again in May.
- One of the benefits of membership includes a listing of your art website or blog on our Artists’ Links page.
- Another membership benefit is the listing of individual art shows or exhibitions on our ESAL News and Shows & Exhibitions pages.
- New members are encouraged to join throughout the year.
- Regular business meetings take place September, October, November, March, April & May. The annual ESAL summer party takes place in June and our annual holiday party/art reception takes place in December at Penn State New Kensington.
- At this time, regular meetings do not take place January, February, June (except for the summer party above), July, August and December (except for the holiday party/art reception above).
- The next regular meeting of ESAL is always posted on our Home page.
