Tirzah Mason Portfolio
Biography
Tirzah Mason’s art reflects her fascination with the relationship between color and form. Tirzah’s playful approach to art begins with the question; “what would happen if …?”. She often jokes that her solo exhibits look like several different artists are exhibiting. Tirzah’s experiments with a wide variety of materials and media have resulted in a varied collection of pieces in acrylic, watercolor, fabric , paper and recycled materials and objects. Favorite styles include the use of mixed media and highly textured work done with painting knives and various embedded objects and modeling gels.
A recent collection, “Tirzah’s Bloomers: The Flower in Art“, was to be exhibited in April 2020 but was interrupted by the arrival of COVID-19. She is currently completing a collection : “Sky and Sea”. Examples of both
collections appear on this site.
