Arlene Holtz Portfolio

Arlene is an intuitive abstract artist who uses acrylic paint, watercolors, and other media to create works of art. Led by Spirit and her own inner vision, her passion is to create visual works of art that express a feeling through color and form.
Color, movement, emotion, and shapes are what inspire her. In the past she has painted landscapes, still lifes, florals, figures, and portraiture, but currently paints mostly abstracts, loving the freedom to express what is in her heart without any preconceived idea of what the end result will be.
She works at home in her artist loft studio in East Liberty, Pittsburgh, always listening and staying open to what wants to come through. In this way, she is able to breathe energy into her creations so that they will speak to others as well.
